Ali Asian Cuisine: A Culinary Delight in Mount Vernon

While the exterior may be unassuming the service and food within is some of the best I have ever had. Clearly a family business that prides itself on quality, the presentation and taste of the food was excellent. I had sushi that could only be described as art! I cannot say enough good things about this experience. Do plan to wait a normal amount of time for these food creations, as they don't happen fast but are completely worth it.

Small quiet family owned and well worth the money! It took us alittle long to get our food. But it's made to order and well worth the wait!! The presentation was awesome! The sushi and sashimi was so good!!! Our waitress was amazing! She was so nice and she made sure everyone was taken care of!! She never stopped taking care of everything. It was impressive! The young man that I believe is her son was great! Helped out his mom and was so polite! I wish my kids were as good as him. You won't regret coming here!! We will be back as often as we can! It's our new favorite sushi spot.

Friendly service, well decorated restaurant. Lots of options on the menu! Thai, Japanese, Chinese foods all have their own sections on the menu. The menu also breaks down what dishes have raw or cooked meats. Food was delicious, definitely will go back when next in the area!

**update** they now offer dine in, take out, or a drive through window to pick up your order At the moment Ali is only offering drive through but they had a buy 6 get one free deal and we tried all new stuff since it was our first time ordering from there. Everything was made beyond perfect. The presentation was even very nice for to go food and traveling 30 miles. We requested our two main courses be made spicier and they did adjust for that. The bangkok combo was excellent at a bit hotter! The beef pad thai was hotter but blended perfectly with all the flavors. The sushi rolls tasted better than they looked! I can't wait till they open dine in back up and we can go there in and eat! It's a bit off the beaten path but this is definitely off the beaten path and worth checking out!! We definitely got our money's worth and extra.

Excellent Asian food covering multiple regions. They offer Chinese, Japanese and Thai cuisine. Beautiful presentation and great food. One of our favorite Asian places in Southern Illinois.

Great Asian Cuisine!! Family business giving its best on every order out. This place has great vibes, clean and plenty tables. Call ahead because good cuisine takes time!

The food here is exceptional! The best wonton soup I’ve ever had. Best crab Rangoon as well. Truly homemade dishes with quality ingredients. It does take 1-1 1/2 hours for meal because the restaurant is completely ran by one small family. Mom, dad and grandma cooking. Kids taking orders etc… Not only is the food amazing but this is exactly the kind of business I want to support. Mt. Vernon has a lack of quality restaurants and I was so happy to have found this gem. I suggest calling ahead or enjoying the amazing appetizers will you wait. You will not be disappointed!

This place is awesome and so authentic their sushi was so good I ordered three different rolls. The rainbow roll, dragon roll, and spicy tuna I think and all were delicious. I wanted enough to take home to someone and they definitely made that possible! Good service and nice inside will be going again next time I go through there!
